hArtes has won the largest booth at the exhibition and is going to present one of the most important and interesting applications: the CarLab.

The hArtes project seeks to develop an innovative approach and tools for the design of complex and heterogeneous embedded hardware and software solutions – from the concept to the chip – for real-world multimedia applications, and in particular in-car entertainment and ‘immersive’ audio applications. The hArtes stand will demonstrate a prototype CarLab, which is a car equipped with the necessary multimedia devices, and a proof of concept for the tool-chain processing kernels of the application code for the hArtes heterogeneous platform.

The PC based multimedia application running in the CarLab is based on Leaff's NU-Tech Framework.
